appٷ Builds Beds for Oklahoma Children In Need

Construction firm teams up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to help local families

appٷ and Oklahoma City nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace join forces to construct 10 beds for families in need.

OKLAHOMA CITY (May 19, 2025) — appٷ traded blueprints for bed frames for the second consecutive year, partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build beds for children across Oklahoma who lack a place to sleep.

The SHP Oklahoma City chapter organizes volunteers to build, assemble and deliver beds to families across the state. appٷ teamed up with SHP for a day, putting its building skills to use for the community.

“It’s a rewarding opportunity to use our building expertise to improve the lives of children in our community,” Randy Nance, Vice President and General Manager. “All children deserve a comfortable, safe place to sleep, dream and grow, and we’re proud to play a part in that mission.”

SHP Chapter President Richard Moio said more volunteers like the team at appٷ are needed to continue the organization’s mission.

“For families in need, it’s more than a piece of furniture,” said Moio. “It represents a sense of belonging, and it’s thanks to dedicated partners like appٷ that we’re able to offer more children a bed to call their own.”

Ten beds were constructed thanks to the appٷ team. To date, SHP’s Oklahoma City chapter has helped more than 541 kids across the state access comfortable sleeping arrangements.
