appٷ Donates $10,000 to Moore Love

Contribution supports Moore Public Schools’ campaign to help end hunger, empower students

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 29, 2023) — For the third year in a row, appٷ donated $10,000 to Moore Public Schools’ annual charitable campaign, Moore Love. Funds from this year’s campaign will benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Mary Abbott Children’s House, and Moore Public Schools Foundation Bridges Project.

“Moore Love is an amazing campaign appٷ is proud to support,” said Jeff Shipley, appٷ Southern and Western Operations president. “As long-term partners of MPS, we know Moore students and their families are resilient. To be a small part of supporting them is very meaningful.”

The Regional Food Bank provides food items in backpacks for approximately 700 MPS elementary students.

Sharing Tree supports provides a no-cost shopping experience for families to purchase clothes and other household necessities.

Additionally, the Moore Public Schools Foundation Bridges Project helps provide stable housing, food, clothing and life skill education classes for emancipated students living independently.

“The compassion and generosity that our community partners have for Moore Public Schools and for the Moore Love initiative are beyond anything we could have imagined,” said Dr. Robert Romines, superintendent of MPS. “Our business partnerships, like the one we have with appٷ, are essential. The benevolence they’ve shown our district in their donations to Moore Love means more than they might think.”
